Grendon CE Primary School is consistently amongst the highest performing schools in North Northamptonshire, currently ranking 1st in 'results over time' (2023-2025) for academic achievement at the end of Key Stage 2.

It has a strong reputation for innovative curriculum design which has received wide acclaim for rapidly improving standards, engaging children in learning and promoting global citizenship.

The school's Ofsted report (November 2024) recognsies the school as 'a very special place' and also found 'a culture of high standards', 'high quality pastoral care' and that 'pupils thrive both socially and academically'.

In 2019, the school was named Primary School of the Year at the National TES School Awards and in 2023 its academic performance ranked the school in the top 1% of schools nationally.

The school's recent SIAMS Inspection in (January 2026) described the school as 'innovative' with pupils 'individually known and cherished' and where 'making a difference is woven into the fabric of the school' equipping and empowering pupils to be 'confident change-makers in their world.'
